The BEST Taco Pasta


°1/2 pound large pasta shells
°1 tablespoon canola oil
°1 pound minced meat
°1 yellow onion (diced)
°4 garlic cloves (minced)
°2 tablespoons taco seasoning
°1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
°1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
°1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
°3/4 cup water
°1 cup jar sauce
°1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
°salt to taste
°pepper to taste
°Crushed tortilla chips
°sour cream
°chopped parsley


Cook pasta according to box directions, drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, put a large frying pan over medium-high heat and add the oil. As soon as it starts sizzling, add the minced meat and brown well, breaking it with a spoon until the pink color disappears.
Filter the fat.
Adding onion & garlic, stirring & cooking for 1 min.
Add taco seasoning, dried oregano, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add 3/4 cup of water, stir and cook until the water is gone.
Add pasta to the skillet. Add the sauce and cheese. Stir until smooth.
Serve immediately, preferably with crunchy tortillas
