Crescent-Cheese-Danish



*Ingredients:

°2 tube crescent roll dough
°8 oz cream cheese,
°2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
°1 teaspoon lemon juice
°½ cup light brown sugar
°Half a cup of granulated white sugar
°1 teaspoon vanilla
+Glaze:
°Half a cup of powdered sugar
°4 teaspoons milk
°1 teaspoon vanilla

The first step:
Preheat oven to 350*
 Put the parchment paper on the baking tray
The second step:
Open the crescent-shaped dough tubes, do not open them
In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, lemon juice, vanilla, and granulated sugar until well combined.
Third step:
Using a sharp knife, cut 1" to ¾" thick slices of crescent roll. Again, do not open it.
Place each slice on baking trays lined with parchment paper
The fourth step:
With each slice, use your fingers to build a raised edge on the dough. This will hold the filling
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with light brown sugar and mix
Fifth step:
Use a pastry brush to brush butter on each slice
Spoon equal amounts of the filling onto each slice
Sixth step:
Baking for 15 to 17 min
In another small bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar, vanilla, and milk and stir well.
Seventh step:
Sprinkle the mixture over each Danish cheese
The Dane can then be topped with your choice of fruit or eaten plain.
