Mac & Cheese


*Ingredients:

            °8 ounces cooked shrimp
            °8 oz crab meat or lobster meat
            °16 oz elbow macaroni
            °6 tsps unsalted butter
            °½ onion, chop
            °2 teaspoons minced garlic
            °2 ½ cups of milk
            °½ cup panko breadcrumbs
            °½ c heavy cream
            °⅓ c flour
            °Salt & pepper
            °1 tsp seafood season
            °⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
            °½ teaspoon paprika
            °1 c parmesan
            °1 cup grated cheddar cheese
            °2 cups Gruyere cheese, grated

*Instructions

FIRST STEP:
Preheat the oven to 350*
Cook macaroni according to package directions until al dente
SECOND STEP:
In a small bowl, put the Panko breadcrumbs and 2 tablespoons melted butter, stir to combine
Put the remaining butter in a saucepan over medium heat and add the onions, cook until the onions are tender
THIRD STEP:
Adding garlic to pan, sauté other 30 sec
Add flour and whisk to combine
FOURTH STEP:
Using the whisk, slowly add the milk and heavy cream and all the seasonings
Add the cheeses to the sauce and continue whisking until the cheese is completely melted
FIFTH STEP:
Stir the seafood of your choice into the cheese mixture
Pour cheese mixture over cooked macaroni and stir to combine
STEP SIX:
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs
Bake for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling
