°1 (14 3/4 ounces) canned salmon

°1/4 c onion, finely chopped

°1/4 c cornmeal

°1/4 c flour

°1 egg

°3 tsps mayonnaise

* Methods :

Opening salmon and drain well. Placing drain salmon in a mix bowl & crumble equally with a fork. Add onion, cornmeal, flour, mayonnaise and egg. Stir until blended. Shape mixture into patties the size of a medium burger or smaller. Cooking in oil in skillet on heat to golden on every side. Turn once when frying. Note: Mayonnaise helps patties hold their shape and prevents them from being too dried .
