+For bars:
°1 12 cups soft butter
°3 cups granulated sugar
°1 1/2 teaspoon salt
°5 large eggs
°1 1/2 tsp vanilla
°1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
°5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
°1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
°2 cans (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
+For glazing:
°1 cup confectioners' sugar
°3 tablespoons milk


Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line  jelly roll tray (12 x 17) with aluminum foil. Spraying with non-stick spray. Sit apart.
In bowl of stand mixer, beat butter and sugar for 1-2 min. Add the salt, eggs, vanilla, and almond flavoring and continue to stir until completely combined. Adding flour & baking powder & mix to mixed. Reserving 1 3/4 c of dough. Stretch / press rest dough to prepared baking tray. Topping with cherry pie filling. Put the remaining mixture in small pieces on top of the cherry filling.
Placing in oven & bake for 50-60 min  Removing from oven and place on  wire rack to cool totally. Once cool, prepare the glaze. Whisk the confectioners' sugar and milk together until smooth and sprinkle onto plates. Cutting to 35 squares & serve.
